ABCs of Salvation
These are our groups that meeting on Wednesday
evenings with a four fold purpose:
A
- ADMIT that you have sinned and need salvation. The
Bible says: "For all have sinned; all fall
short of God's glorious standard" (Romans 3:23) and "For
the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life
through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).
B
- BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died for your sins.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His
only Son, that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have
eternal life." (John 3:16). The Bible goes on to say, "For
if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in
your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"
(Rom. 10:9).
C -
CONFESS Jesus as Lord. Now make a public confession of you
commitment to believe by telling someone about your decision to
follow Christ. "For it is by believing in your
heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with
your mouth that you are saved" (Rom.10:10).
